2024-2025 Parking Pass Information
Student parking permit sales are now open. Please bring completed application, contract and supporting documents listed on the application at the time of purchase. Copies of the application and contract can be printed or picked up in the main office. Parking is offered to Seniors and Juniors that attend New Horizons students at this time. Juniors not in New Horizons will be offered the privilege at a later date that will be announced. No passes will be permitted if you are missing documentation. The fee is $50.00 cash, check, money order is preferred or credit card.

Who is allowed to drive to school? Seniors, work release (co-op), and Vo-tech students are permitted to drive their vehicles to and from school. Juniors are eligible to apply for the remaining passes after the school year begins.
Where do I park? Student's must park their vehicles in the designated student parking lot and they must obtain a student parking permit/decal which must be displayed on the vehicle.
All tags must be current (city sticker, state inspection, and vehicle plates) on the vehicle. Any vehicle without a student parking decal and/or non-current tags are subject to receiving a violation from the Newport News Police Department which normally patrols the parking lot.
Theft and damage: Woodside High School and Newport News Public Schools are not responsible for theft of or from the vehicle or damage to vehicles parked in the school's parking lot. Any theft or damages to vehicles should be reported immediately to the school office or the School Resource Officer.
