Dance Department
Dance at Woodside offers training for all, from beginners with a deep desire to learn to advanced dancers who come to us with many years of training. We dive deep into Jazz, Ballet, and Modern Dance, Dance Composition, and Dance History, with master classes and workshops in many dance styles. Students who join our magnet program will perform regularly at after-school and community events. We are a rigorous program that offers a learning path that can lead toward collegiate or professional dance or prepare the student for success in any field of their choosing. We value creative expression, self-discipline, support of others, and artistic risk-taking.
